Mission & Vision
The Northern California Board of Rabbis (NCBOR) unites and strengthens the multi-denominational rabbinic leadership of Northern California. Inspired and educated rabbinic leadership ensures the diverse Jewish community is served with compassion, broader views, and new ideas.
Our rabbis seek to create thriving Jewish communities. We serve as teachers, counselors, communal professionals, chaplains, educators, and congregational leaders.
NCBOR represents 275 rabbis from all Judaism branches and exemplifies cooperation, respect, and collegiality.
We are the only organization in Northern California solely dedicated to rabbinic well-being.
Our vision is simple yet profound: we exist to strengthen our collegial relationships so that the broader Jewish community is served with inspiration. We also seek to be a moral voice in the Jewish community.
